Effective E-Learning Design
Selecting a Suitable Learning Design Frame Work
So far the Bachelor of Learning Management has been structured around the Dimensions of Learning frame work. For me the use of this frame work is most suitable as I am familiar with it and have obviously used it consecutively during previous assessment tasks and during practical work. Dimensions of Learning (DOL) frame work is flexible and can easily be adapted to suit an e-learning style scenario. In constructing an effective e-learning journey within my area of Industrial Technology, the implementation of DOL elements, in particular Habits of mind are beneficial.

How can a blog be used to support learning?
Blogs can be effectively implemented as tools to aid in collaborative tasks. They provide an easy method in compiling content allowing a group of learners to post and edit their ideas on the one page, effectively reducing time requirements. The use of blogs also makes it possible for learners to communicate with specialists in areas they are researching, aiding in the learning process, acquisition and consolidation of knowledge. Students are likely to become more conscious of the quality of work they are displaying on their blog sites due to the fact that the rest of the world can view it.
